Renew Your Focus & Sales Effectiveness While at Your Desk

Agents may find themselves at a desk for several hours a day and often time battling a barrage of rejection. Renewing your spirit and focus through stretching can take a few minutes and is available any time.
  1. Back & Side Stretch Standing or seated, lace your fingers and reach your arms toward the ceiling, taking a few deep breaths. Reach as high as you can and then release your arms back to your sides. This will stretch your back, chest, sides & arms.
  2. Spinal Twist Seated, with feet flat on the floor, gently twist your torso to the right while keeping your hips square and your back straight. Repeat on other side.
  3. Neck Lengthener. While seated, grab the sides of your chair and gently pull on one side while you tilt your head in the opposite directions (moving your ear toward your shoulder). Hold, and then relax and repeat on the other side.
  4. Shoulder Shrug. Seated or standing, pull your shoulders toward your ears and hold for a few seconds, then relax. Repeate eight to 10 times. [read more at experiencelifemag.com]

Premium Laughs

Stephanie Simmons
VP, Sales & Marketing

An insurance agent said to a customer, "Happy Holidays Mr. Johnson, and thank you for your patronage. I wish I had twenty customers like you."

"Gosh, it's nice to hear that, but I'm kind of surprised," admitted Mr. Johnson. "You know that I file many claims and always pay premiums late."

The insurance agent said, "I'd still like twenty customers like you. The problem is, I have three hundred just like you."
